Omo Oniyan was written and authored by Oyetunde Awoyele. The first edition of this book was written in the year 2004. The story of the book celebrates students’ brilliancy. Olubunmi, who was one of the fictional characters, and played the role of protagonist in this book. She was very brilliant and came out in flying colour in the final exam of senior secondary school.
Olubunmi was to proceed to NCE but her parents couldn’t afford it. In order not to be idle, Olubunmi began hawking pounded yam. One day, she met a benefactor who was willing to send her to anywhere she’d like so she can excel in life. What later happen between Olubunmi and Dewe? What was the Olubunmi’s parents’ reaction after telling them such great news? Did they approve it? What lesson can we learn from this book?
