Okele Akobu (The First Morsel) was written and authored by Kehinde Adepegbe. This adventurous Yoruba book is widely popular and loved by many Yoruba book readers. The first edition of Okele Akobu was released in the year 2004. The story was about Olaoye, who played the role of protagonist in this book. Omolade is the fiancée of Olaoye, and they both promised to be husband and wife when they are ripe for marriage. They took their promise to the next level by making a blood covenant between themselves.
Eventually, things went sour for both, and they couldn’t marry one another. This was the genesis of their problem. They were afflicted by different challenges and problems.
