Irinkerindo Ninu Igbo Elegbeje was written and authored by Daniel O. Fagbunwa. This book celebrates Yoruba culture at its best, and the first edition of this book was released in the year 1954. Irinkerindo Ninu Igbo Elegbeje (often translated as "Journey to the Forest of the Thousand Demons") is an epic adventure book with philosophical and moral exploration. It is considered a continuation of the themes and style found in Fagunwa's earlier works, especially "Ogboju Ode Ninu Igbo Irunmale."

The novel follows its protagonist on an expedition into the mysterious "Igbo Elegbeje" (Forest of a Thousand Demons). Along this journey, the hero encounters various mythical beings, spirits, and fantastical creatures, each interaction serving as a vehicle for moral lessons, cultural values, and philosophical inquiries inherent in Yoruba society.
