ABOUT THE BOOK - SUMMARY

Esin Obinrin is a romantic Yoruba novel written and authored by Folorunso Adeniyi. The first edition of this book was released into the public in the year 2014. Esin Obinrin preaches carefulness in one’s doing, especially when relating to females. The story started with Abeje, a wife of town mayor called Okunawo. Abeje remain the favourite of Okunawo despite the fact that Okunawo married two wives, and the name of the second wife was Peju. 

Okunawo neglected Peju completely since he married Abeje. In a short while, Abeje began to give peju (the older wife) a tough time. She will give her different troubles, since she definitely know that Okunawo will be on her side. At the end of the day, something serious really happened in this family, and this called for urgent action and resolution. Find the out the causes of the trouble, and how they were able to navigate it. What moral lesson can we learn from this book?
