Edun Okan (Heart’s Grief) remains a unique Yoruba fictional story, widely read by many. The book was written and authored by Adedeji Kehinde Vincent. The first edition of this book was released in the year 2018. The story preaches, one should not forget his origin/source no matter what. One Yoruba proverb says “Omo ti o ba so ile nu, o so apo iya ko” (A child that neglect his home will reap the consequence eventually).

This is exactly what this book was about. The story was centered on main fictional character named “Adeoye”. The man was a native of a village called “Arikogbon”, and his was a drummer by profession. Though, Adeoye did not had formal education, yet he excelled in his drumming career. Find out how Adeoye was able to scaled through and overcome life challenge, the moral lesson and others in this book titled Edun Okan.
